Tessa Bruijne TNO Vector

I am Tessa Bruijne, a researcher specializing in responsible AI at TNO Vector (Digital Governance & Regulation). My work focuses on responsible AI development, use, and governance at municipal, national, and EU levels. In my work, I take a sociotechnical perspective, which means I aim to understand the dynamic relationship between technology and society.

My background is in Applied Psychology and Crisis & Security Management. My PhD research focused on the role of communication in developing trustworthy AI. My work at TNO Vector expands on this research experience. Beyond this, I am interested in digitalisation and how people relate to and engage with the world with and through technology and the changes that come with it.
