Jasper van Kempen
I am Jasper van Kempen, an economist at TNO Vector. I have a master's degree in Finance and in Economics, with a specialisation in sustainable economics.
I engage in economic analysis on a daily basis, especially on how (government) interventions affect the market. Seeing what sensible interventions are and through which channels their effects feed through to the real economy is something I get energy from.
My work at TNO Vector contributes to our understanding of how the (Dutch) economy works and which policies are most effective in tackling societal challenges like energy transition. In that way, we encourage new and innovative techniques that contribute to societal challenges like the energy transition to be developed and applied more quickly, which increases the impact of those innovations.
