Gabriela Bodea

My name is Gabriela Bodea and I am senior research scientist at TNO Vector. My research explores developments in (emerging) digital technologies and applications; their intended and unintended socio-economic impacts; and implications for policymaking. Privacy and data protection are my main areas of expertise. Other areas of research interest include security, as well as technology monitoring, assessment and foresight.

As an independent expert, I conduct evaluations of research proposals for the European Research Executive Agency (REA) and occasionally participate in privacy standardisation initiatives.
