Since 2008, I have been working with TNO, as lead scientist for networked business modelling, on approaches for business models and decision-making for innovations involving multiple organizations. Because this time of major changes, especially in business, requires good and reliable support for collaboration. Examples of this are the Value Case Methodology and Collaborative Business Modeling.

I have worked on hundreds of projects and initiatives in various sectors, such as mobility, ICT, process industry, agriculture and business services and at regional and international level. This allows me to make good connections.

A logical extension is that I am also a professor in Business for Societal Transition at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. In that role I contribute to the renewal of economic education.

I am proud to be the initiator, content coordinator and trainer in TNO's strategic initiative Orchestrating Innovation. This is an approach that is used to sustainably organize ecosystems in order to make actual societal impact with innovation. We are also working together with partner Erasmus Center for Entrepreneurship and Rotterdam School of Management on the training and the community of orchestrators.

Before I joined TNO in 2008, I managed a business unit in marketing research organization SKIM, I was an analyst at ABN AMRO bank, and an ICT consultant at TENS. In 1998 I obtained my degree in econometrics / operations research from Maastricht University. I received my PhD from TU Eindhoven on the topic of digital platform strategy and business models in 2023.
