I am Eva Winters, researcher in Energy and Law at TNO Vector. As a lawyer, I research developments in energy markets.
In various projects, I work on questions such as: Which new players, products and services do we need to achieve a sustainable, reliable and affordable energy system, and which laws and regulations are appropriate.
A new development I find interesting is the emergence of more decentralised cooperation in the form of energy communities and hubs. By combining legal and technical knowledge, I try to identify the need for new regulations at an early stage and be able to interpret the impact of new laws and regulations on innovations.
