I am Elmer Rietveld, Senior Researcher at TNO Vector and an internationally recognized researcher in raw materials and the circular economy.
My skills and knowledge include criticality of commodities, materials science, supply chain management, data science, resource efficiency/circular economics, macroeconomic modelling (focusing on disaggregated global accounts, comprehensive environmental accounts), welfare economics and CSR policy.
We make impact with our work that is driven by facts, causal relationships, sharpening questions (our own and others'), actually providing answers to those questions and seeking out propositions that cannot be accepted or rejected outright.
