I am Eldine Verweij, senior scientist at TNO. With my background in business economics, I contribute to solving issues of the Dutch defence organisation and parties in the field of national security.

When it comes to choosing new equipment, for example. Then I look at it through my financial lens so that the best choice can be made for that aspect. I find the field of defence and security fascinating because it is so dynamic and directly affects our security here in the Netherlands and in Europe. It is not self-evident and that is why I am happy to contribute. The fact that I get to work together with driven and smart TNO colleagues who often have completely different backgrounds makes it even more interesting for me!
