Anne Fleur van Veenstra

What drives me is to enable our researchers to apply their knowledge and realise societal innovation.

TNO Vector is a transdisciplinary research centre that develops and applies key enabling methodologies for societal challenges. As Director of Science, I am responsible for the development of our knowledge portfolio. I maintain relationships with other knowledge institutes.

I am also professor by special appointment ‘governance of data and algorithm for urban policy’ at Leiden University. For more than twenty year, I have carried out research on public sector innovation and digitalisation, such as the use of artificial intelligence, and on regulation of digital technology.
